A 180x180 map of Alagaesia (the setting for Christopher Paolini's Inheritance Cycle of novels, consisting of Eragon, Eldest and Brisingr) entitled "Rhye's of Alagaesia", for Rhye's of Civilization (as the title suggests). This is not connected in any way with the other Alagaesia map or Rhye.

Note: Rhye's of Civilization is not mine. As the title of the mod suggests, it was made by Rhye. All I did was make this map. Hopefully, Rhye wouldn't mind if I have his name in the title of this map.
Note 2: Forests are now able to be settled, so that Du Weldenvarden (the big forest in the north, where the domain of the Elves is in the books) can be settled and colonized. Hopefully, Rhye wouldn't mind.

Looks a lot like the maps I've seen. :goodjob:

My one thought is that it is not very "civable", games of civilization tend do best with variety of terrain for strategic city placement but one may be able to remedy that to some extent with resources. (As it is, the resources are about as bunched as the terrain, cf the sugar cane on the islands). I know nothing of the books I'm just thinking in terms of gameplay here. Out of curiosity, why is it that Rhye's name is attached?

This map was for Rhye's of Civilization, so I felt that it made sense for the title to have Rhye's name on it.

Than it would probably be a good idea to import the rules and give a link to the mod in the first post. :)

I'm pretty sure I imported the rules of Rhye's of Civilization (which I have) before posting this map, and I posted a disclaimer and a link to the mod, as you suggested.

Previews are nice.

Ok, its more clear now. I'd missed the imported rules when I first looked.

Ah yes, now I see what againsttheflow was saying about questionable playability on large swaths of homogeneous terrain.
