All NJ gov't websites controlled by state: DOWN

I don't think I have ever seen this before. What is going on here in the garden state?!

They are up again. they were down for a good 15+ minutes. I verified it a few times before reporting.

Maybe they were testing the COICA ways of taking down the sites (just kiddin!) Its more likely some idiot pulled a plug somewhere.

So what if they were down for only 15 minutes? Maybe it was maintenance or some issue. I mean, really, what exactly is the problem?

my wife noticed this issue an hour before I did. And even after the websites came back up services relying on .NET and databases weren't working properly.

Also, NJ has more population than 1/2 the world's countries. If a country's gov't website went down wouldn't that be interesting?

Websites have problems all the time... I don't see why Gov't ones or forums should be exempt.

They are all probably hosted in the same place seeing as how they're all Gov websites. Some IT probably tripped and pulled out a plug in the data center or something.

Unless there's a sudden, multi-hour sustained downtime, I doubt it's anything but an accident.
