All Units are invisible

I haven't played the game in a month or two, but decided to have a game today, and when I boot it up, and start playing, no units are visible, at all.

I can move them with the mouse (click and drag) and see where they start and where they will end up, I can found cities, and the game runs perfect otherwise, but not a single unit, mine, barbarian or NPC is visible on the map.

I can't seem to find any information on a possible graphics toggle, and searching the forums and web turns up information on "invisible units" such as spies.

My laptop is a Toshiba and includes an NVidia GeForce FX graphics card that is not supported by NVidia, and Toshiba hasn't published an updated driver since 2004

However, it DID work a month ago, and I don't run into graphics card issues very often.

Is there some toggle Ctrl "?" that I'm unaware of?

What would make everything run fine, but all units to be invisible?

you may have toogled the bare map modus on. One of the four buttons in the lower right corner should solve this...

Thank you very much, of course I feel like an idiot, but it has been over a month since I've played

It was the "bare map" toggle

Wish it would have reset when you log in and out, but lesson learned
