Almost alll random players are american civs

While playing, i noticed that all the new maps i start with random civilization, have all 5 american civilizations. I started new games 3 or 4 times in a roll and in all of then all the 5 american civs were included.
I used standard map sizes with 5 civs.

if you have 'Culturally Linked Start Locations' on, the american civs always seem to pop up.

Right, it is a known bug. Uncheck 'Culturally linked' when you start a random game.

I've heard that clicking on 'All Random' twice clears this, but in all honesty I've never tried it.

Is it only when you're an American civ yourself? Or does it happen to all civs?

AFAIK, it doesn't matter who you play as.

No it doesn't matter who you play -- the bug has to do with how "random" civs are chosen. The odds are way better w/ clc turned off.
