I finally finished a long project of translating every leader's opening quote into Latin! First is the English version, next is the Latin, then a literal translation of the Latin that shows how I changed it to fit the language and how silly the literal version looks.

University of Planet opening quote:

"The substructure of the universe regresses infinitely towards smaller and smaller components. Behind atoms we find electrons, and behind electrons quarks. Each layer unraveled reveals new secrets, but also new mysteries."

Unum minor semper alio universi. Invenimus sub atomis protones, et sub protonibus, quarkes. Inventum quidque revelusum et obvenit responsa, et obvenit interrogata.

Of the universe there is always one thing smaller than the other. Behind atoms we find protons, and behind protons, quarks. Each unraveled discovery bumps [us] into both answers and questions.

Lord's Believers opening quote:

The righteous need not cower before the drumbeat of human progress. Though the song of yesterday fades into the challenge of tomorrow, God still watches and judges us. Evil lurks in the datalinks as it lurked in the streets of yesteryear. But it was never the streets that were evil.

Overcome the coarse needs of body and blood, for the warp our eyes. Extend your spirit outwards, beyond the awareness of body, to accept the group conciousness of the mass and of humanity. The intentions of the mass and the whole are trancendent, and to accept them is to recieve clarity of mind.

Morgan Industries opening quote:

Not only necessity but also greed has accompanied us to the stars, and benefits of riches still remain for those who are wise enough to see this desire out of the bottoms of everyone's hearts.

Gaia's Stepdaughters opening quote:

In the great public square at Gaia's Landing we have a grove of particularly proud pines, planted in the first place. It stands for our promise to the people and to the planet itself, never to act out the tragedy of earth.
