Alt-tabbing quickly

I run a dual monitor setup with an nVidia GeForce6600GT. My drivers are pretty new (2 weeks old or so from nVidia's site). I think people probably realize that there is quite a bit of response time between when one alt-tabs out of the game and then come back in. During that time, if one alt-tabs quickly, the game will crash, and in my case, resulted in my main monitor being set to 640x480 (instead of 1600x1200) with 16 colors and my secondary being white and having lots of random black streaks running across the monitor. Of course, if I refrain from alt-tabbing quickly, this wouldn't happen. Just a heads up for others and maybe even the Civ development team.
