You sart as Atlantis or Hyperborea or Mu, on islands in atlantic or arctic or indian oceans respectively and with knowledge of continents shoreline, 10 000 bc.

on continents barbarians live, they have cities like gobekli tepe, jericho, arkaim, dilmun, harappa, shambala etc. if you capture those cities you can build some UUs there e.g. chariots or war elephants.

basic units are slingers and archers, then if you colonize obsidian deposit on the continent (or take a barb city) you can build jaguars or maori, spearmen with copper, swordsmen with iron etc. but resources are hard to get so most of your forces are stone age units like jaguar, maori warrior etc. resources arent shown on the map and revealed by your culture. so you need to colonize first to have a chanse to find something.

build infrastructure with enslaved natives. build pyramids, stonehenge and stuff. adopt policies like skull deformation or temple economy, learn techs like cyclopean masonry, levitation, space flight (reveals the map), teleportation, mind control. expansion should be quite easy and borders should grow fast what would allow players to grab some resources and fight wars for territory.

later you can build more advanced units like Berber Cavalry which would wipe off stone age units easily but require high maintenance which is hard to get as there are few gold buildings and no gold trade routes available.

when you discover uranium you can build Vimanas (flying machines) capable of nuclear bombardment, though in very few numbers as resources are very scarce so they should be used in strategically important areas as other hi tech units.

in the end players will be able to produce a global cataclysm by creating special world wonders (great flood - everything is destroyed in the coastal areas, ice age - upper and lower parts of the map are gradually covered with ice, or deadly radiation turning whole continents into lifeless desert).

to win, you should destroy your enemies with cataclysm (as otherwise their capitals are very hard to take) - domination victory, or leave the earth (space victory).

in the end there may also be an attack of the reptile race (anunnaki from nibiru) to spice things a little more ;)
