Alternatives to Civ V (that don't need as much to run!)

Hey all! I love Civ V, but my 13" Macbook Pro (2.3 GHz Intel Core i5 processor, 4GB RAM, Intel HD Graphics 3000 384 MB) has trouble handling it, even on the lower end of graphics.

I'm considering purchasing a PC (with a nice graphics card?) for games and other programs, but until then, which game similar to Civ doesn't have as high reqs?

I know of Victoria II and Europa Universalis III, which both look cool but less polished than Civ. Any help? Thanks!

Civilization IV is really good, and runs on older computers. I'm a little surprised, your computer should run the game alright with those stats.
