Am i building the right things?

While it's true there's more than one way to skin a cat, there's only one way to do it right. ;)

Yeah, it's not really fair to criticize a strategy if you're deliberately setting yourself back. I think Trip is generally assuming fairly optimal play.

I'm not criticizing, I'm just pointing out that there are different ways of playing the game. There's no rule that says a player has to use settler factories. My approach is fairly convenient, I can use the same build queue for all new cities and save on micromanagement. It works for me.

Stop Arguing!!! There's only one way to play the game, dadgummit!!!

It's interesting to hear all the discussion you guys are having. i just have 1 more question. in this following game is it worth it to switch to communism or facisim or any other government for that matter? thanks.

Re gov't: If you have Conquests and you want to win by conquest or domination, Communism is the best government. Fascism may be better for conquest if you have a small empire, however you pretty much need to raze rather than capture. Communism with SPHQ plus courthouses and police stations allow every city in your empire to be productive.
