Teams have a habit of getting annoyed at our process of approving treaties. Therefore, I propose a new article to the Constitution.

Article N. All treaties with foreign nations must be approved by a majority vote of the Congress.
Treaties may also be approved by a vote of the President, domestic minister, and foreign affairs minister. However, should this method of approval be used, ratification of the treaty may be withdrawn by a majority vote of the Congress.

Comments, please. :D

Revocation of a treaty after it is signed is more complicated than simply saying... "Oops... sorry... we really shouldn't have signed that."

Treaties should not be immediate in nature, and thus should not require immediate approval.

Octavian I see no reason to do this. We can simply negotiate from a standpoint of what we think the nation will like, then bring it back to make it official. We all have the knowledge of what the country likes so most of the time we can give the other team a heads up on what we think is going to happen in the vote. Lastly, all the nations I have dealt with understand our system and respect it. I have not seen anyone get annoyed except Lucky.
