Congratulations on your win anarres, but I have to say that it was an impressive performance by both of you.

It's too bad this epic game has come to an end, since I - as well as many others on this forum - have enjoyed reading about the progress and ideas on both of your websites. I guess we will all have to wait for another game to witness a fullscale human-to-human modern age war.

Any chance you'll be starting a new 1v1, or are you going to cover another one of your PBEM games on your sites?

I'm already looking forward to it.

I dont know, anarres is in three other 1vs1's and I am in another one now. I course I want revenge. If anarres wants to start up another one, I am OK with it. Progress will be slower than this one coz we cannot neglect our other games.

I am planning to run websites/spoiler threads for my other PBEM games as well, it's good to know they might be read by someone.

I will play ERIKK again, but I have 3 (soon to be 4) other games that I must get going first. I have even given up hope of finishing a single tournament game for PBEM's, I am an addict!

I am still in shock of this ending of my favourite game!!!! I forgot the congratulate anarres with his victory (over here in public). He had earned it allready with his struggle with the Aztecs and the Babylonians and his great website!

I think it is better to check those other games first. I dont know if they will be as intensive as our ones. But if you start to get bored on a regular midday evening, you can find me (with aggie) on MSN...

It was quite nerve-racking following the last fw turns to see if Anarres would get his dom win or if Erikk suspected what he was trying to do.

I don't know if we can top this game ERIKK. But you can bet that I'm going to try Who cares that it is my first PBEM...

I was following this game very closely, a wonderful game played with great skills on both sides. For me it was a miracle how annares overcame the early difficulties! Excellently done

Untill the end, I still thought, that ERIKK can win with a space ship. I could not believe, that the left side of the map was big enough for a domination victory.

So instead of a real exciting finish with all the troops ready, the actual victory was a big surprise for me.

I do hope, that we all can watch the third game in the not too far future.
