This is a scenario on Rhye's 180x180 world map for C3C. There are all 32 civs and realistic starting locations. Each civ starts out with several cities, units, a worker, and a settler. Not all civilliztions have an equal number of cities. There have been 3 new civs added the Indonesians, Khmers, and Austrains. There have also been units added including the European Explorer and Sucide Bomber. Civs have several UU's. There have been numerous changes in the editor including making the AI tougher, making desert and tundra unsettelable and much more. Resourses don't disapper and corruption has been reduced. City names range from ancient to modern names. The scenario is made so civs develope in a certain way. The European's colonize and Europe is genrally a battlefield as they fight amongst each other. The Asian civs become powers early on but that dose'nt mean they keep that status.Russia becomes big, The American civs are backward when you find them. The U.S. becomes the dominant power in the New World. Play as one of the 32 civs and lead yor empire to glory!

I would like to give thanks to Rhye for his map
Mr.Black for helping me with Khmer cities, leaders, and MGL's
and Furius for Indonesian cities and placement

I would appericate if someone could beta test this for me and find bugs and stuff. Also if you have any comments and suggestions let me know.

To Install just extract the biq. file to Conquests>Scenarios simple right?

Finally here is the download for version 1.1 http://www.civfanatics.net/uploads6/Ancient_to_Modern1.zip
enjoy!:goodjob:

I'll be posting screenshots later

Well 14 people have seen this thread but I have'nt got any responses. Come on tell me how is it?

Well, here's my thoughts:

I've been playing Civ 3 for about 3 months now...played it back in 2002 but my PC broke. So I picked it back up now with a new PC.

Anyway...I have played ALOT of scenarios since then..and this one has good potential. I just think that you need to either make the cities a bit larger at the start, give a few more settlers, and more attack and defense units to the player. I started as the Germans, and barely had a new unit built before Scandanavia and the Netherlands overran me with warriors and archers. I don't see how they could mass produce these units when they each only had 1 to 2 cities each...other than that..I don't know. Haven't gotten very far. But each of the player's cities needs AT LEAST 3 spearmen, 1 warrior, 1 archer, and a settler, and possibly a worker. Maybe someone else can do better..I don't know.

I'll increase the # of defensive units. Each civ starts off with 1 colonist and 1 settler. What city sizes do you suggest?

I'd say make the Capitol 3 and the rest 1 or 2. Also, Vienna is in the wrong place. Hamburg should be renamed Cologne.

Just a thought, but if you'd like to have all the units and wonders that come with Conquests, you only need to include the PediaIcons.txt file from The Rising Sun scenario. You can then, of course, change their properties as you like...

New Version 1.1 is out! The changes include the AI has been made less diffcult, all capitals are size 3, misspellings have been corrected, and city names have been changed. The downloads at the top of the page.

Pawel I don't really want to add the units and wonders from conquests becaus ethen I'll have to remake the scenario and balence stuff out.

Well I really have'nt got much feedback from you guys. I think that I'll just assume it's exccellent.

truthfully...it's hard. and not excellent. sorry...but..I don't know what it is, but these small nations, ie, netherlands, scandanavia, are flooding Germany with warriors. I mean, stacks with 8-10 on the first 2 turns...I don't even know if you can control it or not.

Is this the new version and what level are you playing on? Becaus when you play on higer levels the AI gets extra starting units.

Also since your'e playing as a european nation you are closer with other nations and it will be more noticable. Would you suggest taking away the extra AI units and settlers on all levels to make it easier?
