Annoyed to polite with war

I keep running into this. I pick a war with somebody. Somebody else is now annoyed with me. I contact that "somebody else" and say "How about we both go to war with these freaks". They don't want any gold.. any tech .. they just say "Hey, ok .. kicking some butts sounds fun". Now they are polite.

Just kind of silly sometimes.

Not that I'm complaining about it. I get this feeling they are annoyed because I'm beating people up and they are not.

So they are always annoyed with me because I don't invite them into my wars? Well this is a new thing to try...

Everybody likes to have an invitation to a god butt-kicking.
There are times though I don't want the help because I want the whole island and if we go to war together, the other civ may get a few cities. That has happened before.

I thought you were going to say that the civ you went to war with went from annoyed to polite. That would be really weird.

Had that happen too a few times. Last time it happened to me, I invited Germany to a war. Big mistake. He totally killed the civ I wanted to kill!
