We need to solve these confusions over the save. Like yesterday I checked the mailbox and there was a save there. Hence, I decided to wait. Today, Ankka posted that somebody should play but I did not have UN registration, so I posted that it would be better if he plays. Ankka then posted that I should play anyhow and now Cheetah comes who is the only rightful person to play. Some mess indeed.

I agree. And I believe it is my fault. I am elected to play the save, and hence I am elected to check for it regularly. Unfortunately, some days it takes a while before I get to checking for new saves, and the fact that I usually go to bed just before miccofl sends of the save doesn't help much. :-/

Anyway, maybe it will change soon. I'm starting on Uni this wednesday, and I've found out it might be some time until I get an internet connection to the place I'm moving to. So if my term doesn't end before that (very unlikely), someone else will have to take over. I seriously doubt I will be able to play many saves for the first week or so at the least.

I would have just gone with appointing Matrix as the acting Consul of Internal Affairs, but as I simply asked him to be my deputy and he wasn't elected, I would like to hear everyone elses opinion on this matter.

PS: I'll play the save now. ;)

I think we can make term 4 start a bit earlier, what do you guys think?

Wouldn't make a real difference, only a turn or two.

Of course it would end at normal time, on turn 100, so it would be slightly longer...

After some more officials have said it's ok I'll start the elections.

Well, not that I'm a power-mad person, but I'd say it's better to let the elections have a natural course and let me take over until the next term. Not only because I'm deputy, but also because I was second in the elections and it was a close race!

It's only for a couple of turns. And I'd like to see that the elections give a fair result. We've seen from the previous elections that votes made just in time can make the difference. ;)

Yep, law is law, elections must go in time. However, I hope the President can find an opportunity to play soon. Meanwhile, we have to decide how to handle the save. :)

Sorry to hear that, Cheetah. It ain't easy, is it? ;)

I have no problem with Matrix playing the save, although in Term 4 I think we should consider leaving gameplay in the hands of the 3 elected Ministers. Of course, I will see what our Constitution says about that first.
