Another frustrating glitch...

I have horses and iron in the GOTM9, I have barracks in every city. I have one horseman in every city. I learned Chivalry. SO I click on my horseman and no upgrade button comes on. I press U and my military advisor says "We don't have a single horseman we can upgrade". What the hell is he talking about?

As if GOTM isn't hard enough!!!

hmmmmm might it be that the upgrade path is not as you expect it to be?

Maybe you don´t have enough gold? Upgrading Horsemen to Knights is very expensive, I think 80 gold.

Maybe it is the gold. I will go back into the game and check. Every other factor checks out.

if it says We don't have a nuit to upgrade then you have enough gold for 1 upgrade at least. Otherwise, the button for upgrade doesn't even show up....

One other side note. You can't upgrade if you learned the Tech by trading for it in that same turn. I had this happen to me in my last personal game. I had to wait till the next turn before i could upgrade. Which oddly enough was to chivalry to ( samarui )

Thanks D9 actually that was one part of it, and being short of cash the next turn was the other part of it. So moderator, feel free to close this thread. Thank god it was not another frustrating glitch (just 5 AM playing stupidity).
