Another project... random option for map style

I'm not a big fan of having to choose what type of world I want to start with (Continents, Pangaea...). I miss the random option from Civ3. I don't want to know what type of world I'm about to dominate before I start.

So, how do we go about making a random option for world types on the setup screen? Also, I want the random option to include only specfic world types and not all of them (ie. continents, pangaea, and archipelago, but not the oasis, lakes, or inland sea types, etc.).

Anyone have any thoughts? Could these be done solely just by editing the XML? I'm not sure, but I'm gonna start looking.

Well, after endless searching I don't think it can be done with only editing XML files. I think it involves doing map scripts or something like that, and if it does, then I'm out. I don't know jack squat about programming or Python, and I don't plan on learning it either.
