"Another version of this mod is already enabled" error

I am suddenly unable to enable mods in-game with "Another version of this mod is already enabled" displaying for every mod. How can I fix this?

Clear the cache?

Solved. Workshop had downloaded a duplicate version of one of my mods and enabled it, causing the error.
