Any actual use for the Order social policy?

Order is also a great tree when pursuing a domination victory, but when your bigger issue is management of your large and growing empire (mainly ) rather than the actual combat.

Did they completely get rid of the old United Front ability? I know most people hated it, but it would be a life saver for me right now.

It's now the patronage set bonus.

Which makes more sense.

The way it was implemented previously meant and old civ would hit up UA and you'd have stacked decay on your influence which was I suppose unfair.

I agree with that. Then again, I'm in a never-ending war with Greece and really wanted a diplo victory. My best option now, aside from hoping for peace, is to conquer France and Polynesia, then maybe a naval invasion to take out Greece. I could probably do it, but it would be much better if I could slowly pry away city-states and then still go for Diplo.

the opener is huge, Planned Economy is huge, United Front is huge if you have a lot of military CSs, Nationalism is no slouch if you're defending against a big force (you have a GG that covers your entire borders and stacks with other ones!). The later ones down the tree and finisher aren't too bad either.
