Sid Meier said he would like to see it on the Mac, but he also mentioned that it is up to the publisher. If the publisher says yes, I guess they will do it.

Other than that, no news.

Yeah... If they do go ahead with the Mac, it will most likely definitely be on PC first.

Why should anyone be angry?

When I bought Windows, I don't remember paying for a guarantee that it would come with Civ4 before MacOS does.

PC has much bigger market that Mac.
Only games that are destined to sell very well have any hope of making some profits on Mac.

Personaly, I would like to see the PC version come first or both the Macs and the PC versions to come out at the same time. But I am a PC user .

Does it ( or can it ) have a GNU/Linux port ? Can it ( as asked before ) run under WINE , if full DirectX emulation is provided ?
