It seems to work. But for me it seems only a few things were improved. No memory leak (runs no more than 256mb) and the lag isn't bad even in high quality mode. Still laggy. But not as bad. The leaders avatars actually render, no more cheshire cat. Also the resources show up properly on screen, no more burnt toast by itself.
The only problems are, the movies are more skippy than before, and I still have a black map problem in the main game when fog of war is turned on. But in worldbuilder, no problem. I also still have a problem with animals not rendering properly, just their shadows.
