Anyone else crashing on multiplayer setup screen?

Hi all,

Don't know if its my fickle machine (usually pretty reliable) but can't seem to spend more then 30 seconds on the multiplayer setup screen without the game crashing, and reverting to my desktop.

Anyone else having this problem or is it just me? Any solutions flying around?

same thing happens to me. One thing i notice is it keeps loading a long list of Internet games...

I have only played a couple of times in Multi-Player. That was with a friend and we set it up direct IP using VPN client. I would freeze/crash after about ten turns.
