Anyone interested in an NCAA Tourney pool?

Whoa... it's been a while since I've been here... *awaits welcoming party*

I know the brackets don't get picked until Sunday. But I figured... why wait to ask?

Well anyway... if you're interested in playing, post here with your e-mail addy and I'll send you an invite. It's free and you'll get to play people from ACS, CivFanatics and the Frontier as well (since I'll be posting this there too) plus whomever they or you decide to invite. I'm using the Bracket Pool Manager at CBS Sportsline so you'll need to register with them if you want to play.

Scoring is a 2-4-6-8-12-16 system for each of the six rounds, with no ranking of teams or underdog bonuses. I'm really not open to much variation on this as I figure the simplest system will please the most people (as I learned from doing the football pool the second year). If you really don't like it, gripe and I may listen.

Yeah, i'm interested. Reminds me of a pool we had last year in school. About 50 people were in it, and almost all of them lost their money because the 2 guys that organized it, didn't give anybody their money.

Well, there's no money involved here - you're only playing for bragging rights for yourself and the site you frequent - so don't worry about anything in that regard.

Crossing my fingers for Minnesota...its halftime, vs. Illinois, we're down by 10, and I think we need a victory to get into the tournament. We almost beat Illinois last weekend, but ended up losing by 1.
