AOL just plain bites.

Says right there in the readme.txt that AOL users will 'find it difficult' joining games and definitely can NOT host them.

WTH???

Bye, bye, AOL.

Someone should edit that in at the top of one of the stickies.....would have saved me a lot of trouble trying to find out what the prob was. It was either that or actually READ all of the readme, lol.

Anyway, once more, with feeling.....AOL BITES.

AOL is a joke that is for grandparents who like "the E mail", morons who don't look into their purchases with some level of depth before forking over the money, people who are too lazy to try and understand how the internet works, and stubborn techie
dinosaurs that have had it since it came out.

I support about 400 remote users with various ISPs, and it's allways the AOL users who clearly are morons. It's allways the AOL users who, when prompted to click the Start Menu button in windows, reply with, "........um.........St-start.....m-m--menu........?........wha.......where can I find that...?"

Doesn't it seem odd that AOL is the only 'ISP' that has trouble working with PTW?

I think AOL should be dismantled, and I am glad to see that the stranglehold of stupidity they have over the world is beggining to slip.

I think it's because AOL uses proxies.

People use AOL because, even I the ultimate AOL hater has to admit, it is very user friendly.
I used to have it and I thought it was the best thing since sliced bread because it was easy to use, everything where there in front of you, it was dead easy to learn to use...
Then AOL robbed us and about 2000 other British people of thousands of pounds from our bank accounts because we were paying bye Direct Debit.
Now i know what your thinking "what an idiot!", but its not as simple as that they were a supposed reputable company and you kind of trust those kind of companies...the Banks in scotland took AOL to court for the money, and suddenly AOL was bought over by Time-Warner and changed official name from America OnLine to AOL-Time Warner, so all the money was lost...
