Musically inclined
Abu tossed restlessly in the night. He was running down enemies atop a black animal. He was charging a city with the same animal, wielding a metal stick with smoke pouring out. He was on a giant thing floating in the sea. He was in something far above the ground. He was standing in bloodstained ruins - alone.
In 4000 BC Abu Bakr, inspired by a dream he had once had as a boy, stood with many settlers and scouts to found a civilization. He would take over the world - with no one else standing against him. The lands around were fertile, with cattle and wine. This would be a fine spot to found a city, Abu mused. But we must move NW to gain the production advantage of the area we are in now. So, in 3950 BC, Mecca was founded.
Abu immediately sent out the scout party to look for other peoples. They would be his first targets. But instead of enemies, the scout found friends. In 3800 BC, the scout wandered on a party of nomads. They saw the light, and founded the new city of Medina in the name of Abu Bakr. When news reached Abu, he was delighted. With population comes power.
After this, the scout unit found the first target. Egypt. Unfortunately, the Egyptian military forces were huge. When Abu heard this, he was most upset. However, he thought, patience will be needed, but the final victory will be mine.
Mecca produced another scout unit, and set to work on another after that. With knowledge comes power. In 3500 BC, one of the scout units of Arabia discovered a rough collection of huts NW of Mecca. On talking to these people, they gave the nation of Arabia the knowledge of Warrior Code.
With this knowledge, Abu was able to trade with Egypt, for more knowledge and gold. Abu was pleased at this too. Let the Egyptians benefit from his knowledge as Arabia benefited from theirs. The Egyptians would believe Arabia to be friendly - until Arabia would have enough might to crush them.
Over the next 600 years, 3 more civilizations would be met. The Dutch, Japanese and Indians. Arabia would trade with the Dutch and the Indians, with knowledge from more primitive towns discovered by scouts, and with the technology given to Arabia by Egypt. Abu was very happy.
Work at home was going well for Arabia too. Workers had irrigated cattle pastures, vineyards, and had mined productive grassland outside Mecca. In 2850 BC a granary was built, and soon after the vineyards were connected to the capital by road so the people could enjoy this luxury.
In 2630 BC, the first settler party left Mecca. They formed the city of Damascus in 2590 BC. The empire was expanding. Abu was happy with the progress he had made over the first 1500 years of the Arabic empire. He was ahead of everyone else in terms of scientific research. He had similar city numbers to his foes. But what would the future hold for Abu Bakr. Would his dreams of world conquest come true? As Abu looked out of his window that night, he saw a black crow against a red sunset. The sign of war. It may not be tomorrow, it may not be for many years. But Abu knew it would come.
