If I have built an army consisting of, say, 5 tanks and 2 artillery pieces, and I use the army to attack a unit, will the art shoot before the tanks, or will I have to personally order the art to bombard? And if I have infantry in my army, will it still have a move rating of 2?

I've never loaded artillery into an army. But you can only have 3 units in an army until you build the pentagon (then you can have 4). You'll never have seven.

It's not really a good idea to put Tanks and Artillery in an Army. The Tanks will lose some of their mobility, and retreat ability, since an Army can only move one square at a time. And the Artillery won't be able to do anything at all. All units in an Army attack together, you can't single out an individual unit. And since an Army also can't Bombard, the artillery will just be taking up space, since it has no attack/defence ability of it's own.
