Not sure how useful that bow thingy is. My spear has a better reach. And that string is only going to get in the way when you swing it.

The last time I have checked, Germany starts of with the Warrior code and Bronze Working. If fact we do have Bows n' arrows and Bronze spears .

Haven't played Germany in a while. I though they started with warrior code and alphabet (militaristic and scientific)? I could be wrong.

Sure we do. Fine, long, pointy spears. I use them all the time in tough court cases.

Those are just sharpened sticks. We have been trying without success to mount one of our stone axeheads on a long stick though. They are just too heavy, maybe if we make them like a large arrowhead it will work. Maybe we are closer than we think...

No, seriously. Take a look here. Hammered bronze head, tooled and turned shaft, bronze helft-weight...it's a freakin' work of art! I'll put it up against your bow thingy in a boar hunt any day. I swear that thing looks like it'll crack on the first decent hit. Or do you try to strangle people with the string? An assassin's weapon?

Maybe. I do want to make sure our citizens are well equiped when the barbarians come. Just wait until I start selling metal armor.

An arrow is just a pointy stick. I figured everyone would make their own in their spare time. Oh well, I guess I will start selling them too.
