Article: "The Future of Gaming"

Ultima before it went online was a realy good game. It was a living world with people going to sleep at night. GTA and Morrowind with its vastness of world and things to do. I have yet to play a MMO game with the price of new games and then to pay more on top of that just isn't appealing. Halo2 was a good game but I beat it in 10 hours that wasn't worth the 52$ it cost. In the futer I want games with vastness and long playing times that I dont have too keep paying for. Civ is one of the best games for this. Every game is diffrent and with mods and x-packs replay value just goes up. I just hope the future of gameing is more bang for the buck.

Bumping a moderator's thread... :nono:

Wow, im surprised i thought you would have liked this bumped. An i disagree is such a problem, its not "old news" or a thread that was dead.. i had my opinion on this thread (You did recently reference to it in a recent thread in the gaming forum) thats just as relevant now as it would have been posted then.

The game SPORE is closer to release so we can see how that has developed, and also how immersive games have changed.
