ASPI Drivers?

And if you put it in the system directory (Assume that its c:\windows\system32\ )

1.) Click start
2.) Select 'run'
3.) type in: regsvr32.exe c:\windows\system32\wnaspi32.dll
4.) hit enter.

You should then get a message that the DLL has been successfully registered. :)

"winaspi32.dll was loaded, but the DllRegisterServer entry point was not found.

DllRegister may not be exported, or a corrupt version of C:\windows\system32.wnaspi.dll may be in memory. Consider using PView to detect and remove it."

Hmm, if I read this computer gibberish right, I still have my old, corrupt ASPI driver and I must delete it? Or am I wrong?

Bump again.

I have so many CDs I want to put on my computer...

Another option would be to copy them to the laptop - but how can I get them onto the PC if I can't email or put them on a floppy (too big)?

Hmm

Sorry, an't help you much, but have you tried putting the CDs on computer via Windows Media Player...

If you want to put them onto the laptop, then copy them, get some Ehternet cable and link up the two computers, if you don't have an ethernet jack, you can buy a cheap card for about $25. Then, set up a network using Windows,m should take you about 5 mins, and simply copy the files...

Alternatively, you can buy a USB Key/Card/Storage Device/Thingie and move them that way, though that would take a long while...

EDIT: Problem solved. Apparently MusicMatch doesn't need the driver or replaced it or something; either way, its working perfectly. :)

BUMP.

I haven't tried to play Civ3 in a while, or any computer games in fact, and now I see I can't play them without this file.

WTH?

I've been considering doing that for a while now, because its extremely unstable, but it doesn't have popular support in the household. ;)

Just copy all the files to CD's and then reinstall and don't tell/ask them. ;)
