... at resolution of 1280x1024?

I hope there are some ATI Radeon 9600 owners to help me out on this.

Thanks!
:)

IM running a 9600 Pro 256mb card at 1600x1200 with no problems.... well, after I did the whole glitch fix in the initial install. Recently the game will crash me on a big map with a ton going on, not sure if that is a memory leak in the game or not. Didn't think it was video. I just restart and play again.

The game only cmae out today here. but for what it's worth,I had to follow the procedure on th official site to get the game working. After that it was fine, but I only run at 1024x768 due to pretty poor eyesight.

Graph card : ATI Radeon 9600pro
Processor : AMD Athlon XP 2400+
Memory : 1024 Mb

I installed the newest drivers for my graph card. (cataclyst 5.10, version pilots 8.18.0.0).

I have the DVD version of the game. ( I don't know if it is important to mention ).

The game works, no black map.
( some days ago I reinstalled windows XP and then I installed CIV4)
The only problem I have had, I played it for an hour or two. Then I left and my brother came to play it and he said my computer just restarted in the middle of a game. He had this happended twice.
I wouldn't know why it restarted :(

i had the black map once, i just saved and reloaded the game and it was . runs nice with a 2.4 P4 and 1 GB of ram on a SATA drive except at the end when there are a lot of cities, it crawls

I've also got a 256mb 9600 pro. I had to go through the ATI bug fix thing, but besides that there have been no problems. There does seem to be a bit of lag with the unit movement animation, but that could be intentional.
edit: Sorry, this is for 1024*768. Don't see the need to go bigger.

Looks good

I've also got a P4 2.4ghz with 1gb of ram btw, but my motherboard sucks which i'm pretty sure reduces performance.

I also have a ( Sapphire) Radeon 9600 Pro with 256MB, running at 1024*768.
No problems whatsoever (except for the failed to initialize renderer bug which was solved by the fix posted in the sticky thread). I don't think running at 1280*1024 would make much of a difference.

The PC is an Athlon 64 3200+ with 1024MB of ram.

9600 Pro (128 I believe)
1024x768
A64 3200+
1gb DDR

I have the problem of it crashing to desktop and rebooting (constantly) that makes the game unplayable.
