I'm still on my Atlantis fixation. That being said I was wondering what kind of technologies/skills they actually had.

(Seriously, I don't mean the mindblowing technology that supposedly dwarfs ours.)

I generally take Atlantis to be either Minoans or Tartessos; either way, it's just bronze age tech, like that you read about in the Illiad.

I agree. Basically Bronze Age tech, although in the case of the Minoans they were significantly more advanced than any one else in the region, though not so much as to be of the fantastic sort.

Who are Tartessos?

I believe there is something about Atlantis though. But probably something that can be explained scientifically.
After all didn't they discover that Black Sea was actually flooded at the end of last Ice Age thus giving fundation to story about Noah's flood from the bible?

I believe they had nuclear power and used giant mirrors to reflect messages back to their home planet Atlantean Prime. Atlantean survivors influenced the Greeks while some historians believe Jesus was actually one of the last Atlantean Prophet Kings while the last Atlanteans cfrossed the Atlantic and influenced the Aztecs, Toltecs and Incas. Atlatean technology was recovered from Jerusalem by the Knights Templar who were smashed by the church while the remaining Knights were incorporated in various orders around Europe. Christopher Columbus use the Templar legacy to reach America which was the last bastion of Atlantean knowledge. The knowldege was hidden by the Illuminati and will be revealed soon while an Atlantean spaceship is currently at Area 51.

Where does Da Vinci come in this?
Maybe he copied those helicopters from Atlanteans?
I mean, how else could've they rescue from a sinking island if not with helicopters?

If you think about the legend, maybe one of the technologies they had (had being the operative word) is a stab at early irrigation.

One high tide too many I guess... it's one thing to dig channels along the Nile, quite a different thing to try to conserve water in systems, reclaim land from the sea etc...
