My personal favourite is to subjugate the world with VX graviton nervegas behemoths. Nothing like attacking your enemies towns with VX troops and see them dwindle from huge metropolises to small villages.. To end games (conquest victory) i usually stock up on 20-30 planetbusters and submerge the rest of the world in one turn.
These tactics kinda make the game too easy tho so in my recent games i forbade myself the use of these tools.

I only do such things, if I have to win the game, or war. Or if my bases are unhappy, and I can not take away from labs and taxes!

i nerve staple my own bases to save money of psych buildings

Nerve Staples are usually not needed with my choices/city building policies.

Nerve Gas is my best friend. I equip it on everything except base defenders. The boost to attack and built in city destroying abilites work well in my political cleansing strategy.

Planet Busters I use when I can get away with a well planned strike on a big faction. I keep absurd defenses in the sky to prevent them from being used on me in any way.

Having UN Support is pretty overrated, anyway.
