This is an anti city sprawl, anti trading post, anti war, anti build a worker, diplomatic and cultural and tile buying attack tactic of the new tommorrow

Standard, Continents, Emperor, Babylon

Below are images of the capitol which expanded with culture bombs all over the place and Germany kept saying "do you want war" but never did anything and eventually the borders went shore to shore and had a billion water tiles

the worker did not build any roads so it was done in about two minutes and went exploring for an island and a settler joined and they sailed around the world for about a million turns until they found one- and some more- and an ice one

The big draw back was not finding the islands to the east first as they are bigger , had aluminum, and also France is the leader, so a double stroke could have been made

a refinement of the tactic could be, i suppose- and this is on continents- skip the settling and look for an isle with a city state and capture it and then maybe build a settler- but that also means finding a city state on an isle which in this case i did readily but that does not mean it would be that easy in another game- so the refinement would have risks as oppossed to just finding a vacant isle and settling

However here, a tank and nuke invasion and paratroopers all over the place will take foreign isle cities - when they are built up- but at the cost of time and timing is everything in Civ

Subs, fighters and paratroopers, missles and nukes are the superior and maybe one tank
Babylon is an airpower civ

Tradition, Piety, Freedom, Commerce, Order, for this particular build
Uranium- 200 bucks and to make sure, some silver for some more

The evidence is clear- Techno Tal Like Prowess on the Venn Inversion of Yesteryear's Sorrow

There should be an achievement for "Strangely Inefficient Approach Executed Efficiently".

Because this would earn it.

Definitely good for a laugh.

Economy of Moves

Fact- No Defenses needed except for capitol

Fact- No Workers or roads needed

Fact- Walls of Babylon and Walls of Ocean Waves and Ranged

Fact-Desert Dune City Build Assault (copyright attacko films incorp)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c_ZFw3hUHV4

the evidence is clear- Death in the Valley of the Sand

How do you make improvements without workers?

no worker build or one worker build

optimal is early war- steal worker, peace then use it up and send exploring with the settler

resurces like iron and coal and uranium will probably have to be bought/traded for
(tundra/desert isles?)

i think next i will try Tradition/Commerce/Autocracy and maybe just two cities and puppets

the evidence is clear- Play like a City State

and i think it is key that the second city on an isle has whales

Proof you can slog though Emp games of Civ5 just fine using bailing wire and tooth picks.

the evidence is clear- amphibious elephants

Cheers!

I found a 1 hex desert island in the middle of the sea once, with (6) iron on it.
I was like ... WTH this has to be a glitch ... and then realised there are 5 fish and 1 pearl within 3 hexes of it.

As it turned out, that city ended up being one of the most awesome cities ever.
I guess having 6 8-yield tiles does that to a city, eh?

The best part is ... 'cos I thought it'd be hilarious ... smallest great wall ever.

Fact- City State- Can't be razed because you can't raze a state but Sherman came close in the american civil war

Fact- City State- You become the grand puppeteer of chaotic invention

Fact- City State- An early puppetted City state on an Isle is almost free from attack

Fact- Sea Peoples- City State- Bowmen, Horse and Triremes and Optics

the evidence is clear- Tradition, Commerce, Autocracy

The city states cannot be raised. In a sense they dictate natural borders. I just lost an emperor game because I wanted to use the city states as an allied 'shield' against the 3 other AI on my continent via Patronage while I quickly racked up 5 trees with 4 cities. I would have been better off puppeting and annexing the shield for continous use of the tiles at zero cost to me and pressing on to raise AI cities on the other side of the shield while putting the points into Piety. Piety is free culture from happiness.

The evidence is clear, the human empire is an inverted pyramid.

Awesome.

Is this the first Attacko guide for Civ 5? I'm so excited. This game is so hard I don't know what to do. More facts, please!

Patronage and allies with the city states has not worked all that great for me except if they are like a back civ and surrounded by my borders or something - that is more a greece thing i think

Which is why i am working on one city build grand puppet master of the desert with an oasis if there is one and a natural wonder

I suggest that if only one city and puppeted city states then that one city should have desert tiles for solar plants and maybe oil and iron. and whales. and an oasis and a natural wonder. and on the coast

but since no city state will luck into that combo i suggest settle for an oasis and be on the coast

and puppet all city states and attack the point leader and go for the Collosus and any one city benefit type wonder

I'll add images later

the evidence is clear-"Attacko's Oasis Puppeteer Maniac From the 7th Dimension"

"Attacko's Oasis Puppeteer Maniac From the 7th Dimension"

Fact- Image one- I must be magic or something because i start a game and this is the geography

Fact-Image two- Capitol at a later date with three puppetted City States with Citidels

Fact- Image three- Rio De Jenaro is situated in an ideal spot. A natural wonder, desert, oasis. which shows that such a geographical start is possible- and in this case attainable via puppetry

Fact- Image Four- the only draw back was a war with Persia on the plains outside their capitol and i lost like spear and bowmen -both promoted to double cover

the evidence is clear - Sherman's March To the Sea but North this Time and with Puppets which is what Hannibal should have done
