August is going to be expensive...

Tropico 4 came out quick, I still haven't played 3 yet :/

Whatever, I have enough games backlogged and purchased on the cheap to last me all year at least. Plus The Witcher 2 is slowly on its way from Aamazon.

I might like the new Stronghold, though I'm still playing Crusader from GOG, and #2 was craptastic according to the reviews.

Stronghold 1, with all the expansions so you could play on a skirmish map was the BEST.

Tropico was ruined by a demo disc on PC Gamer.

It allowed you to play an entire game, with only a few buildings locked... I played that demo a bazillion times, and could never see the point of buying the real game!

Stronghold: Crusader adds in skirmish, not Stronghold 1 (while I guess Crusader is an expansion, it has a lot of differences, it also removed SIEGE THAT! mode :( ).

There are a lot of maps and scenarios available for downloading for the games too, I used to go to Stronghold Heaven a lot.

Stronghold 2 is alright. Crusader tries to be like Age of Empries too much for my liking. Stronghold 1 is the best.

What exactly is the difference in Crusader? I thought it was just a different theme, a few less game modes, and the mercenaries?

I like that you can instant purchase in Crusader, but it's not particularly effective for a rush unless you start next door.

Abandon, you're very cheap if you liked Tropico 1 but haven't bought it yet. Tropico 3 was like $5!!!!!!!!!

@ Gudgayme: I did buy it, but found little to no extra "fun" above the demo! I even bought expansion packs for it.

@PrinceScamp.. I mistook Crusader as an expansion pack for Stronghold 1.. same with Stronghold: Crusader Extreme... they both seem like "re-releases" with a bit extra thrown in.

Can't wait for Tropico 4, I'm a big fan of the series, I hope they have Hugo Chavez, and I hope you can pirate.
