Austria little buff?

I was thinking should Austria also get a little bit of a change. I mean they are a pretty good civ already, but I was thinking of a slight buff. Besides the ability to annex, they can also add the ability that Austria even when Friendly with CS gets all strategic and luxires from CS. I mean it is just a thought, just like England besides their original ability also got an extra spy back in G&K.

Sorry to shoot you down, but no way. Austria is, by most posters' consensus, easily one of the top 5 civs. Their UA is excellent, their UB is excellent, and their UU is pretty good. That's plenty good enough. Adding this would make them go from OP to hands-down-best-civ-in-the-game.

Yeah, maybe you are right, but just as I said only a slight buff. But whatever, it is good as it is already.

Yeah, there are many posters who already believe Austria is the best Civ because of their strength and flexibility in victory conditions.

Yep, ability to annex is ridiculously strong already. No diplo hit, free military units, and no loss of population. When I'm trying out different strategies I find myself not picking Austria for the same reasons for Civs like Babylon: So powerful that it will skew results of whether my strategy is working well.

That's not a "little" buff, that's an insane buff. That's so good you could base an entire UA off of that alone, and people would call it OP. That basically means you don't need to get alliances with any CS in the game unless you want to annex or win by diplo. If PTP wasn't being nerfed, consulates would get you all the luxes and strategics of every CS in the game. No more resource problems ever again. No coal on your continent? No problem, gift 250 gold to all the CS with coal and you got it. Doesn't matter if all those CS have alliances at 300+ influence, all you need is 30 and you get all the same benefits. Why would you consider that buff to be little?

Also, it's basically a better version of Portugal's Feitoria, so it's not unique.
