Auto-remove Great People if they're skipped...

In my current game, I skipped over a Great Engineer that wasn't very useful to me.

Little did I know that the AI in my game has zero interest in Engineers and wasn't even going to rush-buy the guy. So now nobody except me has been producing GE-points for ages and that slot is pretty much dead for me, since it still has the guy I skipped over in it.

Solution/suggestion: If a Great Person gets skipped and then isn't picked up by other civ for X amount of turns, auto-remove the GP in question to allow the players who do want another GP from that category to receive them again.

I encountered this too. It's annoying.

Update: I think I know what's causing this. None of the AI players in my game bothered to build industrial districts (tells you how much of a production-boost they're getting). Finally, Catherine started building them (well into the modern age) and started to accumulate GE-points. Then she must've bought a GE, because all of a sudden I was bombarded with "claim great person"-messages. I had accumulated something like 4 or 5000 GE-points by now, so I could recruit the next 3 or 4 GEs that popped up. Luckily, one of them gave a production bonus to space-race-projects, letting me launch one of my Mars-modules way early.. :D

TBH, I was trying out a Tiny map size for the acheivement, so I didn't have as much competition as usual.
