Before I started playing my most recent game, I edited the .ini file to auto-save every 10 turns. I have a bad habit of playing the game for a few hours before saving, so I decided to turn them back on. My first self-issued save wasn't until 1140AD, and my second was at 1515AD.
I check out my single-player auto-save folder this morning, and the auto saves did not start until 1500AD! I'm wondering if there's a limit to the number of auto-saves that the game keeps? I have auto's for the opening turn, 1500AD, 1550AD, 1600AD, 1650AD, and 1700AD. Is there a way to make this number unlimited (or at least larger than 5 auto-saves)?
