Oh yea.. reguarding the slow game play.. i tried playing it in windows mode.. it was kinda slow.. but when i turn back to full screen..everything was fine again.
Its a memory hungry beast - its possible you ran out of pagefile, its a bit low. Try upping the pagefileto 1500 or 2000mb, use min=max to stop it fragmenting.
You said ok in Window mode- was it slow - or did it work at a reasonable rate?
Dont know yet without more feedback if ini / driver changes will help you. Make sure you have minimised the number of background apps that are running, if your playing offline, turn off your Anti-Virus when playing.
The CTD you get and slow in window mode do indicate that you may be having the known memory issue. Not certain in your case yet, but worth a go as its quick to try, easy install /deinstall. Go here, instructions at post 1.
There are 2 settings you need to do. The guys on the thread willhelp ifyou have problems with the settings, its worth experimenting (logically lol) with the settings as they make a significant difference to the working of the patch. Its a benign patch does not touch game code.
