Hi, I didn't want to read through 72 pages to see if there was an answer to my question, so i'll just ask it here:

If i make a custom avatar in paint, it will be a .bmp picture, which I can't upload here. Is there any way to change it to JPEG, or should I use a different program to make the avatar?

You can change the .bmp to .jpg or .gif, if you change the vibility settings in your folder to show file extesions. and then you can just click rename file and change the extension to a suitable one. I'll post a pic of what to press.

You should have a save-as option in paint ... then just shrink the picture until you can use it approx 2kb

Thanks for the help! That was actually pretty easy(except that it was a bit hard to interpret it with the finnish text), but I wonder why they make it so complicated. Oh well, now i just have to think of a new avatar.

Well i'm shocked and apalled at my inability to make my avatars under the limit (as in kb), i resized one image pretty well but its still 12kb . The rest are all fullsize images as they lost too much quality with my rubbishy techniques . Could they possibly be resized (with the best bits left in) to suit CFC please?

Note: I have the explosion one twice- resized and original, just incase the resized has lost quality or something. I have also put up two versions of another image i found with varying brightness as i don't know which would be better for ana avatar.

PS: If theres a way to shrink the file size to image size (i'm sure there is) then i can do it myself, i looked on page 1 but can't see what Lyonesse says to do on Photoshop 7.0 .

For Avatar Collections, I am planning to make Avatars from the Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex. I am going to have a separate Zip file for each character .

So My question is, would it be alright to have a zip file of the collection of avatars the file contains?

Yep! As long as I can get to them to add them to LAHP
