Here's my (crappy) attempt at that.

@ gelion ~ Actually when I posted that I did not know the process involved in making an animated .gif file. Since you mentioned it I purchased a program that produces them. The best I can explain them is that you take a series of files and load them into a larger file and it treats them like an old time flip book, showing them one image after another. I have found that you can set the timing of them to make them work for you.

BTW I've created a static smilie for myself ~ what do you think?

I'll work on the braces smilie later today <---- but with braces

Any chance one of you digital artists could touch up my avatar a little bit; make the background (or the whole thing) a little bit lighter and more visible? It looked great in MS Paint when I cropped/shrunk it, but it shows up almost black in CFC...

Thanks, Betrayed. I converted it to JPEG and that made it smaller, although now I'm not sure it didn't knock out some detail, too - and I'm not on the computer that has the original, so I'll keep this and then compare them later tonight.

@Mistfit - Screen capture done by someone on a website that I now can't find again. The episode was the third-to-last one, "In a Mirror, Darkly" in the Terran Empire alternate universe.
