Awesomely Awesome Eurasia Map! 2016-10-05

This is a map of Eurasia rotated 20 degrees counter clockwise. It includes Ethiopia and some of Indonesia as well. It's about 260x190 and has random bonus recourses and strategic and luxuries placed by yours truly. Europe is slightly larger than it should be proportionately, so more European civs can fit in. I've been working on a little mod and I wanted to make my own map rather than using others'; you can use this to meet your own ends as well, so here ya go.

I'm pretty much planning an epic from about 300BC to AD1492. It's a long project; I'm planing different tech trees for culture types and I've only solidified the first era for the Mediterranean civs. It'll take a while, but I'm pretty committed to finishing it.

Yep, great map, how accurate is the terrain? Did you do research or just based on other maps?

I grided a map with an enlarged Europe and meticulously copied the coastlines.

The mountains are fairly accurately placed, but not as exact as the coasts.
