I was playing an island game, and my warriors got several upgrades. They were infantry by 50 AD! So I decided to go for domination victory and I plowed through the opponents empire with just that one unit. The most advanced unit my opponent had was spearmen.
Maybe units shouldn't get so many weapon upgrades from ruins?
