Is there at Mod that allows a human player change it's government to a barbarian state. So the other civs don't recognize your civ. You can still units but not improvements or wonders. You should still be able to farm your land to feed your barbarians.
Once you have killed of a few civs in barbarian mode, you change back, but this time you can select which civ you what to be out of the ones you conquered.
