Dino barbs. Sounds fun. 
Using monster film monsters for barbs might be fun, also. Godzilla for the sea barb, King Kong for the land barb, maybe King Ghidorah for the horse unit? Then watch AI and player both run like heck.
Thinking about it some more, having all powerful barbs like that, that can easily trash player and AI alike might make an interesting scenario. One where the player and AI need to gang up together against the barbs to survive.
