Barbarians

How do you make it so barbarians actually roam and attack you cities or units, rather than just staying in their camp and waiting to be found? Also, is it possible to increase the rate barbarian ships spawn, without selecting raging barbarian in advanced options?

If you mean the unit sitting on top of camp is guarding their spawn point from being cleared, so you should acctualy want it to be there, if you want to see more of them, also if they weren't there anyone could walk right in and get the money, which might disturb balance somewhat. I haven't had any issues with rest them as far as roaming and stealing workers goes, but perhaps it shows more on small maps. I think trying raging barbarians might acctualy help more than moding, since the issue is that you want to increase spawn rate anyway.
