Basic production

In the 'Reports' Screen my capital yields the following production:
Palace: 2
Worked tiles: 3
Amenities: 0.3

Total: 6.3 !!

Bug, inconsistent report screen or am I missing something?

Neither the Reports Screen nor the City Screen when open show your actual total yields. They pick up some sources of yields, but not all of them.

Perhaps the developers should add an Accountants policy card available at Mathematics, and then a Census Department policy card later, which when slotted cause the UI to provide more and more accurate information to the player.

Until you get to Social Media, when the information becomes unreliable again.

It’s usually a modifier-type change that is not shown.
Try Better Report Screen. I’ve added some more details in Yields page.

Is 'Better report screen' a Mod?
Are any compatibility issues known with it?
Is it possible to add the mod after a game has started or does it need to be 'loaded' when the game is started?

Are you using the Urban Planning policy card? That would explain the difference.

@CivBesch BRS is an UI mod. Doesn’t affect save files, you can turn it on and off any time you like.

Try going for a turn, the city screen is updated correctly only at end-of-turn. I have often made poor assumptions based on this. Maybe you just improved something that turn?

For some weeks I had no time for the game, I hope to have a few hours this weekend - but not certain.

To answer the question. I am not sure if I will be able to go to the next turn this weekend, as I have to study quite some more basics, before doing my next turn.
