Battlestar: Galactica mod/scenario?

Hey there everybody, longtime reader, first-time poster.

Does anyone know if there have been any Battlestar: Galactica (re-imagined) mod packs or scenarios made for Civ 4? Didn't see anything in the archives. If not I am tempted to try to make one.

I like this idea as well, and as far as I know there is no mod/project on this. So if you are willing to take on this, I'll help (tho sporadically since I'm in the B5 mod and that is my priority).

I was thinking on modelling the Galactica and the Pegasus anyway.

Thanks, once I get back from my summer vacation I might start mapping it out. The only downside is the lack of diversity in the BSG universe...you'd basically have to have two sides, with the Cylons as the vastly superior force. Maybe give the Colonies the advantage at tracking down a bunch of intergalactic goody huts (Arrow of Athena, etc) to even things out?

Another possibility would be an alternate history scenario in which the Colonies were tipped off to the Cylon attack ahead of time, and have a short period of time to build up their forces...making the conflict more evenly matched.

... Unless you did a Cylon War-era, or do what Occam's Taser suggested. Or even start at the very beginning (as in, have the game start with the 12 tribes of Kobol settling on their specific planets and growing from there)

What I see here is a small mod/scenario, the only way I can see this becoming a full sized mod is taking into consideration the "first Cylon war" (when they became ... independent), that way I see three eras "1st cylon war", "peace" and "2nd Cylon war", or something like that....
