What do you people think is the best dessert from the following options?

1. Chocolate Gateau

2. Boysenberry Ripple Cheesecake/Cheesecake in general

3. Icecream

4. Pavlova

5. Baklava

6. Custard

7. Triffle

8. Fruit Salad

9. Yoghurt

10. Pancakes

Baklava is a turkish dessert involving pastry drizzled with honey and has nuts in it. Pavlova ia a New Zealand/Australian dessert similar to merringue. It slightly crunchy on the outside, fluffy on the inside and is topped with whipped cream and usually strawberrys or kiwifruit. Triffle is a sponge type fruit dessert which seems to have brandy or alcohol in it.

I'd say probably the Gobi desert. The Sahara's overrated.

No wait, er... desserts? Lemmesee. No, I'm not a dessert kinda guy, although watermelon and normal melon are nice.

IceCream. Either a Peanut Buster Parfeit from DQ or Butter Pecan in a Waffle Cone from BR31.

Chocolate Gateuax definatly. There's a restarurant that I go to now and then that makes it very well. It serves it with some piping hot chocolate sauce. It is excellent.

Cheesecake. (how can pancakes be a dessert? It's breakfast food!)

Chocolate gateau ice cream trifle!

You forgot to say that its contained in jelly (fruit gelatin) covered in a layer of custard which is then covered in cream!

My favorite isn't up there :( , I guess I'll go with baklava

Tiramisu is my favorite, if done right.

7. TRIFLE! Without a doubt. There's no competition :)

Bananas Foster is one of my favorites. However it is impossible for me to single something out, it depends on the dinner.

I don't like trifles myself, they're much too insignificant. ;)

All of the desserts posted thus far are good, but it all depends on the meal, mood, and how hungry I am. If I'm not that hungry, then some sweet and juicy fruits hit the spot. If I'm still hungry, then a nice tiramisu, gâteau chocolat or mousse au chocolat is good. Pie with ice cream is always good. Basically, chocolate if I'm really hungry, pie/ice cream/others when I'm sort of hungry, and fruits and other light deserts (whipped stuff I guess) when I'm not that hungry.
