I'm an okay player when it comes to peacetime growth and culture, etc. but my warmongering skills are lacking. I have around ten victories in my hall of fame, but not one for conquest or domination. I'm pushing for one right now, but Mansa Musa doesn't seem to be the finest one at it. With that said, which leader would be the best if I was to pursue a conquest/dom win? Any strategies would also be helpful. Thanks

Tokugawa.

He has the agressive trait, so your axemen and swords all get Combat 1 out of the gate. Add a barracks, and the possibilities are endless - mix and match to provide a great stack.

His UU comes right in the middle of the tech tree, and is an excellent UU: The Samari. They are still Melee, so they start with combat 1, and can hold their own up until riflemen. They cost the same as a maceman, but get 2 first strikes. This makes them almost immune to other's first strikes, and makes them much harder to kill.

His other trait is organized, so you can keep costs down in your ever expanding empire. Hands down, Tokugawa is the best leader for a domination victory.

Caesar is also a very good choice. Get Iron Working, build lots of Praetorians, and you should be able to conquer at least half the planet before anyone gets units capable of standing up to you.

Huayna Capac - Incan

Although any aggressive Civ will do, I really like having the financial trait to go along with it.

I think Ceasar is good. You can also check out this site's HoF.
