Best use of first great spy?

560 AD in my current game and already 3 have popped in my capital, I settled 2 and built the yard with the third, sure infiltration is a great way to gain insta -overpowered espionage on 1 person for a long time, but if they are on my continent, they are just millitary fodder anyways.

The surprising thing is that I gain all the bennefits, of the infilitration this way, yet they will never go away, so if you get multiples, settling +beauracracy +yard will get you a long way.

Edit its around 1000 AD now and 4 popped, If you get multiples this is definately a good use, 3 stolen techs, and in general i'm wreaking havoc with spies whenever I want, while still maintaining a massive economy 0 percent espionage and over 140 per turn.

I used my first to build the Yard, then all the rest I used for infiltration. Worked out pretty good.

Of course this was a game where I made Espionage one of my focal-points in the game so having TONS of extra Espionage points really worked very well for me. You can really put the hurt on people bad with an embedded Great Spy and 6-10 regular Spies.

It felt particularly good when the French refused to give me Banking.

So I stole it from them and burned all their banks to the ground along with a few markets for good measure.

That'll teach 'em.
