I would re-download because I changed a lot of the base files. Believe me, it looks a lot better than before. But, I have found some bugs that need to be changed, so another update is not far off, this time probably in the form of a patch update. I'm playing the game now to get some screenshots to replace the ones on post one.
Ok, new screenshots added, I bet you'll all like the new version better. Post one for download.
EDIT: Just finished a domination victory with the Turks...man, that was awesome. I ended up making all my cities produce Sipahi, concentrated in one spot and steamrolled the Dutch, French, Incas, and was on the verge of doing the same to Columbia when I hit the limit. 1510 AD. Beat that.
I don't know what your asking. Time finish? There is a mandatory end time of 700 turns (I think that may be too long), and I finished the game above in 1510 AD.
Do anyone know if it works on the Mac version of Civ III?
I've just bought a new iMac and would love to get CivIII and some great looking mods like this one up and running but am totally inept at doing the tech piece to get there - any assistance would be massively appreciated!!
Nope, just your assumption; I've played it on a Mac and it went swimmngly. Indeed, of all the mods I've tried, it's one of the few that did not give me any trouble on my Mac.
Also as a side note, I've recently come back to Civ3. I've been playing my mod and noticed some changes to the graphics and music that need to be changed so another update is in the near future.
Mr Meteor Man
Although I'm still to download your presumably fine piece of work, I can most certainly appreciate good title. It made my day, as they say in some parts of this, as long as modders like you continue to create, fine, fine world.
Best wishes.
I played a round. It's a little disappointing, but still very addictive.
1. I had no idea what to do with all the slavers the slave hut kept making, or with all the workers the worker housees kept making. Also had no idea what to do with all the prophets Stonehenge kept making.
2. I appreciated that you made Stalin the Leader of Russia from the Industrial Age through the Atomic age -- though it was Lenin who carried it through from 1917 to 1924 FYI, i.e. the industrial era.
3. Greatly appreciated that Carthage could make War Elephants. That always bugged me about CIV3PTW and Conquests (save for the Ancient Med scenario).
4. Would love to see this on a Giga World Map. Perhaps I will create and upload one.
All told, I appreciate the effort. You clearly put a lot of work into this.
